Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a skilled and dedicated Audio Transcription Specialist to assist our client, a leading Chartered Surveyors firm, on a temporary basis. As an Audio Transcription Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chartered Surveyors team by transcribing and formatting various documents, reports, correspondence, and survey notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe dictations and audio recordings into well-structured documents with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Format and proofread documents to ensure consistency and professionalism.
  • Edit and update existing documents as required.
  • Collaborate with the surveyors and other team members to ensure smooth document flow and efficient communication.
  • Prioritise and manage a high volume of transcription tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Audio Transcription Specialist or similar role, preferably in the field of chartered surveying or a related industry.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in using transcription software and Microsoft packages.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, even when working under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a good command of grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
