A leading Chartered Surveyors firm is seeking a skilled and dedicated Audio Transcription Specialist to assist their team on a temporary basis.
Role Overview:
As an Audio Transcription Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chartered Surveyors team by transcribing and formatting various documents, reports, correspondence, and survey notes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe dictations and audio recordings into well-structured documents with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Format and proofread documents to ensure consistency and professionalism.
- Edit and update existing documents as required.
- Collaborate with the surveyors and other team members to ensure smooth document flow and efficient communication.
- Prioritise and manage a high volume of transcription tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an Audio Transcription Specialist or similar role, preferably in the field of chartered surveying or a related industry.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute.
Proficiency in using transcription software and Microsoft packages.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, even when working under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a good command of grammar and spelling.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
