Job Summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Surveyor to join our Estates Team. As an Estates Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a commercially effective professional estates and valuation service in an urban/rural context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Estates Surveyor in becoming an Estates Surveyor through career progression
  • Deliver a range of services including acquisitions, disposals, compulsory purchase orders, and valuations
  • Work on major transport schemes and support the acquisition/compulsory purchase of property interests
  • Support projects at our commercial business parks
  • Provide expert advice on property-related matters

Requirements

  • Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) or actively working towards qualification
  • Experience in delivering a commercially effective professional estates and valuation service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
