Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Payments

About Us: Vend Tech Group is a leading provider of innovative payment solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our expanding Direct Sales team.

Job Summary: As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching new prospective merchants and introducers, showcasing the benefits of our products and services. You will understand the key challenges faced by merchants and partners and address these by recommending the appropriate products and services, ensuring profitable terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Business Development: Identify and approach new prospective merchants and introducers, showcasing the benefits of our products and services.
  • Merchant and Partner Engagement: Understand the key challenges faced by merchants and partners and address these by recommending the appropriate products and services, ensuring profitable terms.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with support from the Line Manager, Department Director, and Pricing Manager for necessary approvals.
  • Customer Onboarding: Oversee the transition of newly onboarded customers to ensure a smooth handover to an Account Manager.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain relationships with introducers, building trust and expanding their portfolio of referred merchants.
  • CRM Management: Keep the CRM system updated regularly to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Vend Tech Group at industry events as required.
  • Travel and Meetings: Travel to meet with prospective clients and partners to enhance the quality of discussions, effectively addressing and resolving identified issues.
