Sales Account Executive

£30,000 - £33,000 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Allowance

Location: Nottinghamshire

Are you an experienced Sales Account Executive who thrives on balancing the responsibilities of selling and managing both new and established client accounts?

We are pleased to collaborate with a leading firm in their sector, established over three decades ago, and consistently expanding their market presence.

As a result of their ongoing success, they are seeking a skilled sales and account management expert to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing a portfolio of 250+ existing accounts within your designated area
  • Continuing to identify upselling opportunities within these accounts
  • Allocating 80% of your time to account management and 20% to acquiring new business
  • Engaging in cold calling, face-to-face sales, networking, and reactivating lapsed accounts
  • Spending three days per week on the road for pre-scheduled appointments and two days in the office for strategic planning, administrative tasks, and follow-up communications
  • Possessing a proactive mindset with the confidence to initiate cold calls
  • Delivering solutions across a diverse range of sectors including education and sports
  • Exhibiting strong account management capabilities to provide exceptional customer service
  • Utilizing CRM software effectively
  • Demonstrating robust administrative skills

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and account management is essential
  • Previous experience in wholesale is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A confident individual who enjoys traveling for work
  • A solutions-focused professional
  • This position is ideal for someone who is still passionate about pursuing new business opportunities
  • A proactive approach is necessary to ensure all potential leads are explored
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
