About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As a Crisis Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, recovery-focused support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Working in a community-based setting, you will inspire and engage people, identifying barriers and understanding individual needs to promote independence and social inclusion. Your experience in mental health settings will enable you to facilitate activities, provide one-to-one support, and signpost individuals to relevant services.

You will work closely with Peer Support Workers and other Crisis Recovery Workers to deliver person-centered care, addressing the holistic needs of clients. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to motivate and engage individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide recovery-focused support to individuals experiencing mental health crises
  • Work in a community-based setting, inspiring and engaging people to promote independence and social inclusion
  • Facilitate activities, provide one-to-one support, and signpost individuals to relevant services
  • Collaborate with Peer Support Workers and other Crisis Recovery Workers to deliver person-centered care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers
