About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services and contributing to the strategic development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose individuals under the care of the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment service.
  • Use the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation where clinically appropriate.
  • Support the teaching of medical students attached to the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment service.
  • Provide consultancy, advice, support, and intervention to the team and wider professionals.
  • Collaborate with other secondary care services and external stakeholders as required.

Requirements
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the Specialist Register.
  • Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
