Job Title: Consultant Adult Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to join our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment team at St Martin's Hospital in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to patients in need of crisis resolution and home treatment.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the team and broader services, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Use the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation where clinically appropriate, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Support the teaching of medical students attached to the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment service, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification, with Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act (or achieve this within 3 months of appointment).
  • Full registration with the GMC, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
