About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Line Clinician to join our team at the Kent and Medway Partnership Trust (KMPT). As a key member of our crisis resolution team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to individuals in crisis.
  • Assess the individual's needs and develop a plan to address their crisis, working closely with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals in crisis, helping them to develop coping strategies and access local resources.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective crisis resolution.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues and crisis intervention principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
