Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to cover a Patient Hearings Review Coordinator role within our Mental Health Act Team.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

The post will require you to go to hospital sites, when required and inline with our hybrid working policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange all patient review hearings in line with the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
  • Liaise with the Head of Service and Associate Hospital Managers alongside clinical staff to obtain reports and chase reports when not received.
  • Evaluate areas of concern and escalate as necessary.
  • Provide data and statistics as required.
  • Utilize spreadsheets to ensure all data is kept up to date and consistent with review information.
  • Liaise with patients, carers, and solicitors to ensure effective communication.
