About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to cover a Patient Hearings Review Coordinator role within our Mental Health Act Team.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

The post will require you to work in a hospital setting, when required, and in line with our hybrid working policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange patient review hearings in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Head of Service and Associate Hospital Managers to obtain reports and chase reports when not received.
  • Escalate areas of concern as and when required.
  • Provide data and statistics as and when required.
  • Use spreadsheets to ensure all data is kept up to date and consistent with review information.
  • Liaise with patients, carers, and solicitors to ensure effective communication.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good understanding of written communication.

Desirable

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, particularly Excel/spreadsheets.
