Mental Health Professional

The Crisis Resolution team is a critical component of providing urgent and acute mental health care in Waitaha Canterbury. As a key member of this team, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary group of professionals who prioritize delivering high-quality care and services to clients, their families, and whānau.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assessment and case management services to clients in crisis
- Working effectively with primary care, community supports, and inpatient teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client
- Collaborating with clients and their whānau to empower them in their recovery journey
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current APC, with a mental health scope
- Qualifications and experience in mental health, with a strong focus on crisis resolution
- Excellent assessment and case management skills, with the ability to think critically and prioritize clients' needs
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cultural safety
