Single Homeless Project is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to become an integral part of our team. This position offers a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary starting at £34,996.44, increasing to £37,425.16 per annum.

Our mission is to assist single individuals in London by preventing homelessness, offering support and accommodation, promoting well-being, enhancing opportunities, and advocating for change. We positively impact the lives of over 10,000 individuals annually across all 32 boroughs.

Role Overview:

The Team Manager will provide essential management support for staff and clients across two accommodation facilities. This role demands exceptional interpersonal skills and the capability to cultivate and manage partnerships with various stakeholders.

In this position, you will step in for the Services Manager as needed and share the responsibility for delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused support to residents facing multiple challenges. Together with the Services Manager, you will guide frontline workers to ensure that client needs are met and that services adhere to the organization's policies and contractual obligations.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience or a strong understanding of staff and service management, with a focus on meeting key performance indicators. This includes the ability to work under pressure, self-motivate, and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of Housing Management concerning License Agreements and various types of tenures.
  • A high level of numeracy, literacy, and comprehension to contribute to budget setting, monitor expenditures, write reports, and analyze written information.
  • A solid understanding of Recovery principles and Psychologically Informed Environments, with the ability to implement these concepts in service delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of issues related to homelessness, substance misuse, and complex trauma affecting clients' recovery journeys, particularly for those at the Pre-contemplation stage, while also motivating those who are abstinent or reducing use to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Strong networking abilities and a proven track record of building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance services for users.
