Job Summary

The Cashier and Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing a positive customer experience by processing transactions, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, aisles, and stockroom.
  • Assist with restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock to ensure a visually appealing store display.
  • Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of ideas to improve customer service and store operations.
  • Collaborate with other associates to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Cashier experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs.

Compensation

$12 - $14 per hour
