Position: Senior Commercialisation Project Manager

Location: Haddenham, UK or Florence, Italy

This position is designed to spearhead the internal initiatives aimed at successfully executing EMEA Flavor Solutions (business-to-business) commercialization projects. These projects encompass the introduction of innovative products and modifications to existing products and packaging produced in the EMEA region.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercialisation, you will oversee a cross-functional team comprised of departmental specialists. This crucial role guarantees that speed and innovation are maintained as core competencies while ensuring the team remains focused, motivated, and aligned with project objectives. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and will have one direct report based in Italy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead commercialization projects to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Organize and manage a diverse array of projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clearly communicate priorities and risks to drive engagement and action.
  • Support the team by swiftly resolving issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Develop new processes and enhance existing ones to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of project delivery.
  • Participate in Pipeline Meetings as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
  • Provide training and mentorship to direct reports and other team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Identify development opportunities for the team and lead recruitment efforts as needed.
  • Effectively engage with stakeholders to keep them informed and involved in the commercialization program.
  • Secure stakeholder backing for process enhancements and facilitate the resolution of issues hindering project progress.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven project management experience in a FMCG or similar environment, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in line management, overseeing team members in remote locations.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Preferred qualifications: PRINCE 2, PMP, Prosci Practitioner, or other relevant certifications.
  • Desired: Experience with Salesforce.
  • Desired: Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • University degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications in project management and ideally change management.
  • Experienced project manager capable of effectively leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to lead significant projects and change initiatives in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Understanding of Commercial's strategic priorities and the ability to communicate them effectively to gain support and ensure proper project and resource prioritization.
  • Builds credibility and fosters positive working relationships across various levels and regions.
  • Capable of influencing stakeholders to secure support for process improvements and key decisions.
  • Utilizes a Growth & Change Mindset to influence others.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing process improvements, securing necessary support and resources.
  • Digitally adept, able to leverage various IT tools as they become available.
