Position: Senior Commercialisation Project Manager

Location: Haddenham, UK or Florence, Italy

This position is designed to spearhead the internal initiatives aimed at successfully executing EMEA Flavour Solutions (business to business) commercialisation projects. These projects encompass the introduction of innovative products and modifications to existing products and packaging produced in the EMEA region.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercialisation, you will oversee a cross-functional team of departmental specialists. This crucial role guarantees that speed and innovation are integral to our operations, while ensuring the team remains focused, motivated, and aligned with project goals. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will supervise one direct report based in Italy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead commercialisation projects to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Organise and manage a diverse array of projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clearly communicate priorities and risks to foster action and engagement.
  • Assist the team in swiftly resolving issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Develop new processes and enhance existing ones to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of project delivery.
  • Support Pipeline Meetings as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework.
  • Provide training and mentorship to direct reports and other team members to facilitate their professional growth.
  • Identify development opportunities for the team and lead recruitment efforts as needed.
  • Effectively engage with stakeholders to keep them closely involved in our commercialisation initiatives.
  • Secure stakeholder backing for process enhancements and assistance in overcoming obstacles to project advancement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven project management experience in a FMCG or similar sector, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in line management, overseeing team members in remote locations.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Preferred: PRINCE 2, PMP, Prosci Practitioner or other relevant certifications.
  • Preferred: Experience with Salesforce.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Holder of a university degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification in project management and ideally in change management.
  • Experienced and technically adept project manager capable of effectively leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Competent in leading significant projects and change initiatives in fast-paced and ambiguous conditions.
  • Ability to comprehend and articulate Commercial's strategic priorities, ensuring effective project and resource prioritisation.
  • Builds credibility and fosters positive working relationships across various levels and regions.
  • Capable of influencing stakeholders to secure support for process improvements and critical decisions.
  • Utilises a Growth & Change Mindset to influence others.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing process improvements, securing necessary support and resources.
  • Digitally savvy, capable of leveraging various IT tools as they become available.
