My3Tech is in search of an experienced Infrastructure Project Lead to oversee and execute intricate IT projects involving multiple teams and work streams aligned with a stringent delivery timeline.

Reporting to the program manager, the Infrastructure Project Lead will be accountable for the successful outcomes of the designated projects. This role requires leading the team through the established standards for project management to ensure the effective completion of all project phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, and Closure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a hands-on technical project lead collaborating with development teams and business units.

- Facilitate communication with management and staff to align work tasks and resource allocation.

- Set clear timelines and expectations for both technical and business personnel.

- Work alongside vendors, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution, including contract management and collaboration with procurement offices.

- Adhere to project management practices and governance standards; coordinate with relevant Project Management Offices.

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including budget plans, schedules, risks, and status updates, ensuring information is shared with team members and stakeholders as per the communication plan.

- Document requirements and use cases, and facilitate design workshops for assigned projects.

- Define testing objectives, develop test plans, and create test cases for assigned projects.

- Manage project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

- Measure and communicate progress using relevant metrics.

- Support training initiatives for systems and applications.

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure project delivery, including network infrastructure, architecture, wireless technologies, and cloud implementation.

- Familiarity with telecommunications network technologies and standards.

- Experience managing projects involving network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, fiber optics, and internet services.

- Proficiency in modern fabric-based networks, including Network Fabric underlay, overlay, and SD-WAN. Experience with VoIP infrastructure is advantageous.

- Proven track record in managing large, multi-stream projects.

- Experience in evaluating carrier bids and presenting recommendations to management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

- Ability to integrate technical and business knowledge to create innovative solutions for project automation.

- PMP certification or qualification under Commonwealth standards for IT Project Managers for Category 4 Projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

- Background in complex office relocations, including networking, security, AV, and other office equipment.

- Agile Scrum Master certification.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).

Special Instructions:

This position requires a background check.

PMP certification from PMI or PM certification from VITA is required; no other certifications will be accepted.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing large projects.

The candidate should possess at least 15 years of overall IT experience.
