About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at nLeague. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex IT projects with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, ensuring successful completion of project phases.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including ITD management and staff, to ensure effective communication and resourcing.
- Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and contractors to execute projects, including contract management and procurement.
- Adhere to nLeague's project management practices and governance requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, including requirements, use cases, and test plans.
- Provide project status updates and metrics to stakeholders.
- Support system and application training efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects.
- Ability to analyze and translate requirements into system specifications.
- Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Project software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or VITA certified Project Management certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile Scrum Master certification.
