Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex IT projects, ensuring successful delivery across multiple teams and work streams.
  • Act as a hands-on project coordinator, collaborating closely with development teams and business units.
  • Facilitate communication between technical staff and management to ensure alignment on project goals and resources.
  • Establish and communicate project timelines and expectations to all stakeholders.
  • Encourage collaboration among multifunctional technical teams.
  • Work with vendors, consultants, and contractors to execute projects, including contract management.
  • Adhere to established project management practices and governance requirements.
  • Maintain oversight of project budgets, schedules, risks, and status updates.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of project requirements and facilitate design workshops.
  • Prepare test objectives, plans, and cases for assigned projects.
  • Manage project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and budget-compliant outcomes.
  • Define, measure, and communicate project progress using relevant metrics.
  • Support training efforts for systems and applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience managing large multi-stream projects valued at $10M or greater.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery, including vendor management and site provisioning.
  • PMP Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience in both Scaled Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • VITA Certification is highly preferred.
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification is desirable.
  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification is also a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server) is required.
  • 8+ years of experience managing high-visibility projects with external team coordination.
  • 8+ years of experience managing projects under PMO governance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or Finance/Business is required.
