Overview:
Tech Brand Staffing LLC is in search of an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to oversee and execute a multifaceted IT initiative involving various teams and workflows aligned with a stringent delivery timeline.
Under the guidance of the program manager, the coordinator will be accountable for the success of the designated projects. The coordinator will guide the team through the established Project Management Standards to ensure effective completion of all project phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closure. A PMP certification from PMI or a project management certification from a recognized body is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a proactive technical project coordinator, collaborating closely with development teams and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with management and staff to streamline work tasks and resource allocation.
- Clearly communicate timelines and expectations to both technical and business personnel.
- Engage with vendors, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution, including contract management and procurement processes.
- Adhere to established project management practices and governance standards; collaborate with Project Management Offices.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including budgets, plans, schedules, risks, and status updates, and share information with team members and stakeholders as per the communication strategy.
- Ensure thorough documentation of requirements and use cases, and lead design workshops for assigned projects.
- Define testing objectives and develop test plans and cases for assigned projects.
- Oversee project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Measure and communicate progress using defined metrics.
- Support training initiatives for systems and applications.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with clients and project team members.
- Strong analytical skills to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Capability to analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement technology solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Understanding of data modeling and interface management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.
- Ability to program and generate custom reports using standard IT tools.
- A combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Progressively responsible experience in system analysis, design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Agile Scrum Master certification
