About the Role

My3Tech is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT projects with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule.

The successful candidate will serve as a hands-on technical project manager with development staff and business groups, coordinating and communicating with IT management and staff to coordinate work tasks and resourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or VITA certified Project Management certification.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing large projects, with a solid understanding of software development life cycle models and expert knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
  • Balance business and technical background with sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to technology teams.
  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server) proficiency.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience with project management tools, methods, and practices.

PMP certification from PMI or PM certification from VITA is required; no other certification qualifies.
