About the Role:
My3Tech is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex IT projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple teams and work streams to achieve aggressive project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams through the project management lifecycle, ensuring successful completion of project phases.
- Collaborate with development staff, business groups, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Communicate project timelines, expectations, and progress to technical and business stakeholders.
- Adhere to My3Tech's project management practices and governance requirements.
- Manage project budgets, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status, and disseminate information to team members and customers.
- Ensure documentation of requirements, facilitate design workshops, and define test objectives, test plans, and test cases.
- Provide project management oversight, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
- Define, measure, and communicate project progress with metrics.
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and project team members.
- Ability to analyze and translate requirements into system specifications.
- Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and practices.
- Ability to analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement technology solutions.
- Experience in Microsoft Project software.
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Knowledge of data modeling, interface management applications, and tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or VITA certified Project Management certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management.
- Ability to program and create custom reports using IT application standard tools.
- A combination of training, experience, or education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Progressively responsible experience with system analysis, design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- PMP certification from PMI or PM certification from VITA is required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience managing large projects.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and expert knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
- Balance business and technical background with sufficient technical background to provide highly credible leadership to technology teams.
- Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
- Bachelor's Degree.
