We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Store Leader to manage our Blue Cross location in Wilmslow.

Our store is a hub of community engagement, benefiting from the support of loyal patrons and generous contributions. As a Retail Store Leader, you will play a pivotal role in our store's achievements, advancing our mission to assist animals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and Lead: Empower and guide a committed team of volunteers, ensuring they excel in their roles.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Create a welcoming environment for customers, delivering outstanding service and representing Blue Cross with pride.
  • Drive Sales Performance: Achieve sales goals and maximize profits to further our charitable objectives.
  • Engage with the Community: Develop strong relationships within the local community to amplify our shop's influence.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate records, manage data effectively, and comply with retail standards.
  • Oversee Stock Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring shelves are stocked with appealing products.
  • Prioritize Health and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols diligently.

Candidate Profile
  • Retail Management Experience: Demonstrated success in retail management, with the capability to lead and support your team effectively.
  • Leadership Qualities: A motivating leader and team builder, collaborating closely with the Assistant Store Leader to ensure seamless operations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities to connect with a diverse range of individuals, from team members to customers.
  • Commercial Insight: Understanding of the retail landscape, driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficient in planning, prioritizing, and managing time and tasks effectively.
  • Customer-Centric: Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for providing a remarkable shopping experience.
  • Adaptability: Flexible with a positive outlook, prepared to navigate varying work schedules and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Driving License: A full driving license is advantageous.
  • Volunteer Experience: Experience in working with volunteers is a plus.
  • Fundraising Knowledge: Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is beneficial.
