Meridian Business Support is delighted to be working with a leading independent 4x4 dealership to recruit a Purchasing Coordinator in a Buying role.

Our client is a well-established business with over 50 years of experience in the industry, offering a wide range of premium vehicles for sale at their state-of-the-art showroom.

They are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their busy buying team as a Purchasing Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Buying team in all aspects of administration, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist the Buying team with incoming telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Raise invoices for vehicle purchases and manage payment processing.
  • Organize paperwork for trade-in vehicles, preparing them for auction.
  • Set up payments via online banking for vehicle purchases.

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
  • Previous experience in a Vehicle Administrator role or equivalent within a dealership.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage a large administration workload.
  • Friendly and expert communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible approach to work duties with a willingness to learn.

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.

Hours: Monday to Friday, no weekends.
