Real Estate and Land Management Specialist

Wilsons Auctions Ltd is a prominent independent auction house operating in the UK & Ireland. We are seeking a dedicated full-time Land & Property Manager to join our Head Office team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Valuation: Conduct thorough valuations of properties based on their type, condition, and location.
  • Marketing Strategy: Effectively promote properties online to maximize visibility and reach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Engage with inquiries and maintain a database, collaborating with marketing to address queries and keep interested parties informed about property updates, viewing schedules, auction dates, and legal documentation.
  • Vendor Instructions: Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations for vendors and properties prior to marketing.
  • Legal Coordination: Work closely with the vendor's solicitor to manage legal documentation, ensuring proper organization and distribution of materials, including Property Registration Forms.
  • Contract Law Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of contract law as it pertains to property transactions.
  • Sales Assistance: Support the sales process of properties.
  • Transaction Management: Upon receiving deposits, prepare the Notification of Purchase.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare the balance of deposits for vendor solicitors.
  • Fee Management: Issue invoices to vendors for entry fees and commissions.
  • Completion Coordination: Manage completion processes upon receipt of completion notifications from vendors.
  • Key Management: Oversee the release of keys.
  • Invoice Monitoring: Track outstanding invoices in collaboration with the Accounts department.

Experience Required:

  • Proven ability to accurately value properties (RICS Certification preferred).
  • Experience in property and construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of building and construction principles.
  • Demonstrated integrity, empathy, confidence, and excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Commitment to honesty, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital property portals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Acrobat.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break).
