Wilsons Auctions Ltd is a leading independent auction house in the UK & Ireland, seeking a dedicated Land & Property Manager to join our team at our Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuation Expertise: Assess properties based on type, condition, and location to provide accurate valuations.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement effective online marketing strategies to maximize property visibility.
  • Client Relationship Management: Engage with inquiries and maintain a comprehensive database, ensuring timely communication regarding property updates, viewings, auction dates, and legal documentation.
  • Vendor Instructions: Conduct Anti-Money Laundering checks on vendors and properties prior to marketing.
  • Legal Coordination: Collaborate with the vendor's solicitor to prepare and distribute legal packs, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Contract Law Knowledge: Apply understanding of contract law in property transactions.
  • Sales Assistance: Support the property sales process, ensuring smooth transactions.
  • Deposit Management: Prepare Notification of Purchase upon receipt of deposits.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and send balance statements to vendor solicitors.
  • Fee Management: Invoice vendors for entry fees and commissions.
  • Completion Coordination: Manage completion processes upon receiving confirmation from vendors.
  • Key Management: Oversee key release processes.
  • Invoice Monitoring: Track outstanding invoices in collaboration with the Accounts department.

Experience Required:

  • Proven ability to accurately value properties (RICS Certification preferred).
  • Background in property or construction sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building and construction practices.
  • Strong integrity, empathy, confidence, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to honesty, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in mathematics and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital property portals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Acrobat.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break).
