We are excited to present an opportunity for a Purchasing Specialist within the Diagnostics, Equipment & Services Team at Supply Chain Coordination Limited.

The Purchasing Specialist will play a vital role in shaping the strategy for specific categories or product groups, aiming to enhance the supply chain, mitigate risks, create competitive advantages, and achieve cost efficiencies. By focusing on product assortment, promotional offers, and market entry strategies, and in close collaboration with key stakeholders, the specialist will develop product categories that maximize value for both customers and the organization. Additionally, the role involves providing insights into industry trends and consumer behavior to support the successful launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve specific category objectives aligned with the organization’s procurement strategy.
  • Generate precise reports by gathering data from various standard sources and organizing it into established formats.
  • Investigate and develop a foundational understanding of external developments or emerging issues.
  • Execute stakeholder management activities by adhering to established procedures; assist in fostering and optimizing relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, including key decision-makers and public organizations.
  • Compile and analyze data using predefined tools and methods, working independently.
  • Gather and summarize information on key cost drivers, market dynamics, and innovation opportunities for senior colleagues to support informed decision-making.
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers while identifying opportunities for new business or supporting client retention, which may include addressing complex inquiries and resolving customer issues.
