Adele Carr Recruitment is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team in Warrington. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and verifying supplier details, matching invoices against purchase orders, and preparing monthly supplier payment runs.

About the Role:

  • Manage and verify supplier details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices against purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Prepare monthly supplier payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Assist with month-end process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role, processing 200-300 invoices and timesheets weekly.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other MS Office packages.
  • Experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200 or similar accounting software.
  • Consistently and accurately meet month-end deadline requirements.
  • Strong team player with a can-do, positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
