Travel:

While there will be opportunities for remote work, the successful candidate must frequently travel to their designated areas and conduct essential compliance inspections. A valid driving license and personal vehicle are mandatory. Mileage reimbursement is provided at £0.45 per mile, calculated from office to office. An enhanced DBS check will also be conducted.

About the Role:

As a Community Housing Officer, you will provide essential housing services to tenants across Norwich, Thetford, and Hoveton.

This role encompasses managing 126 properties, necessitating a clean driving license. You will be responsible for property lettings, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, assisting tenants with rent management, and collaborating with social services to support tenant independence.

Additionally, you will address tenancy issues, including reports of anti-social behavior.


You will work within a small team under the guidance of the Neighbourhood Manager, striving to meet ambitious targets. Engaging with tenants is crucial to our success, and you will collaborate closely with tenant representatives and groups.
