About the Role:

The Service Manager is a key position within Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative, responsible for the day-to-day operation of our services. As a Service Manager, you will play a vital role in promoting independence for the individuals we support, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, ensuring they deliver high-quality, person-centered support.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including individuals, families, and community members.
  • Develop and implement innovative, person-centered approaches to service delivery, aligning with our values of Respect, Enable, and Safeguard.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, addressing any challenges or concerns that may arise.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices that promote excellence in service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in care management, with a strong understanding of person-centered approaches.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • QCF Level 3 qualification, with a willingness to work towards Level 5.
