We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
- Plan and manage rotas, lead staff teams, and ensure compliance within the service.
- Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensure the safety of service users and follow care plans for each individual.
- Take service users out into the community and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
- Senior Support Worker experience.
- Must be resilient and have a caring nature.
- Drivers are essential due to the nature of the role.
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
- A competitive salary of £25,293 - £28,413.
- A full-time permanent contract with 40 hours a week.
