The role of patient administration is vital in enhancing the patient journey and assisting clinical teams in providing exceptional patient care, significantly impacting the overall patient experience. Efficient patient administration is essential for effective management, ensuring high standards of data integrity and optimizing the use of resources.

We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to take on the role of Patient Administration Coordinator within the Renal & Transplant team.

This position is dynamic and demanding, ideal for someone who can operate independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

There are numerous opportunities for professional growth and development both within this role and across the service.

The Renal & Transplant service is extensive, encompassing various areas and units that require administrative support.

This position is integral to the ongoing enhancement of the service and is suited for a candidate with strong organizational and communication abilities, preferably with experience in the NHS, although this is not a strict requirement.

The successful candidate will interact with staff and colleagues at all levels. Proven administrative and customer service skills are essential, along with the capability to prioritize and manage one’s workload effectively under tight deadlines.

Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and initiative in their approach and be capable of thriving in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Main Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to consultants, clinical personnel, and all patients under their care, including managing diaries, supporting correspondence, and executing other administrative tasks as necessary.
