About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Assistant - Patient Pathway Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an effective and efficient administrative office function to support a front-line clinical service.
  • Manage daily outpatient clinics and operating lists.
  • Communicate with patients and manage information sensitively with attention to detail.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
  • Administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Good standard of education with a minimum of 5 C-grade GCSEs (including English Language and Maths).
  • Competence in the use of various computer software packages.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • EPR training (training available).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience of working with the general public.
  • Evidence of a positive approach to working in complex environments.
  • Experience of setting and maintaining work standards.
  • Ability to provide a range of options to deal with complex working situations.
