Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our Community Paediatric team at Oxford Children's Hospital.
The post will be based at John Radcliffe Hospitals as part of Oxford University Hospital.
This role is crucial to the ongoing development of our services and requires a candidate with excellent organizational and communication skills.
You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels, prioritizing and managing your own workload to tight deadlines.
Initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work in a pressurized and busy environment are essential.
A knowledge of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and elective access standards would be advantageous, but training will be provided.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide an efficient and effective clinical administration service to the department, consultants, and designated medical staff.
Be the first point of contact for consultants and clinical teams, coordinating workflows through the admin team to ensure consistency across the service.
Work within an administrative team dedicated to quality and effective patient care, maintaining Trust policy on patient confidentiality.
Work according to administrative processes in place to support the delivery of Trust and national targets.
