Helping Hands is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning and Development Specialist to join our growing team. We are committed to providing exceptional care to our clients, and we believe that investing in the development of our staff is essential to achieving this goal.

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that empower our employees to reach their full potential. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to identify learning needs and develop innovative solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in adult learning to ensure our training offerings are relevant and effective.
  • Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Measure the impact of training programs through data analysis and feedback, making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
About You:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about learning and development and has a proven track record of success in this field. You should have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills are essential.

Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in learning and development or instructional design.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in the healthcare or social care sector.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the care industry.
  • Familiarity with competency-based training programs.
