The Role: IT Support Specialist - Desktop Technologies

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance across our organization. This role will be primarily based at our Oxford campus, offering on-site support to staff and students regarding hardware and software issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining and installing IT equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second line technical support, coordinating with third-line specialists as needed.
  • Offer on-site technical assistance to staff and students regarding hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain and install IT equipment across various locations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the broader IT team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage user expectations and prioritize tasks in a demanding environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service experience are essential for success in this role.
