Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Field Services Engineer to join our client's team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support services to our people, maintaining and improving our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-Site Support: Provide technical support to our people at multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Field Service Management: End-to-end management of field service jobs, expediting maintenance and troubleshooting procedures across our network and server provisions.
  • Cisco Expertise: Utilize Cisco technology to deliver on-site support, ensuring seamless connectivity and system functionality.
  • Request Management: Manage requests through to resolution, meeting our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Project Work: Collaborate with our team to deliver projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Security and Network Administration: Handle security and network administration tasks, ensuring the integrity and security of our systems.
  • Hardware Repair and Replacement: Perform hardware repair and replacement, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Equipment Installation: Ensure equipment is installed and ready for use by end-users, meeting our quality and safety standards.
  • Cabling and Hardware Installation: Coordinate on-site cabling and hardware installation duties, working with our Core Network team to ensure hardware is correctly deployed and connectivity is tested and reachable remotely.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and investigate circuit connection errors, circuit/hardware down scenarios, and work closely with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Hardware Upgrades: Perform hardware upgrades on legacy equipment and re-cable as instructed, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Essential Experience
  • Project Work: Proven experience in project work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • 1st-3rd Line Support: Experience in providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support services, with a focus on resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Network and Cabling: Experience in network and cabling, with a focus on ensuring seamless connectivity and system functionality.
  • Cisco: Expertise in Cisco technology, with a focus on delivering on-site support and ensuring seamless connectivity and system functionality.
  • OS Support and Deployments: Experience in providing OS support and deployments, with a focus on ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Office 365 and 365 Admin: Experience in Office 365 and 365 admin, including Intune, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and system functionality.
  • VMware Virtualisation: Experience in VMware virtualisation, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and system functionality.
  • Troubleshooting: Proven experience in troubleshooting, with a focus on resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements: You will need to hold a valid UK driving license and have your own vehicle.
