We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Healthcare Practitioner to become a vital part of our team within a secure healthcare environment. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensive medical care.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for the health and well-being of approximately 1232 patients, including those in an inpatient unit. This position is ideal for a medical professional who is passionate about delivering holistic care and has a keen interest in mental health and substance misuse issues. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of mental health specialists and advanced nurse practitioners.

Working Hours: We offer flexible shift patterns, which may include out-of-hours responsibilities to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Compensation: This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary up to £125,400 annually, based on your experience.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • MBChB or MBBS qualification
  • Registration with the GMC and inclusion on the GP Performers List
  • Evidence of participation in annual appraisal processes
  • Experience in community general practice as a General Practitioner
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to engage with patients who have a history of substance misuse
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to obtain these qualifications
