JOB PURPOSE: Delivering comprehensive primary medical services to the patient population. Ensuring effective clinical management, administrative duties, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborating with the practice team to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the growth of the practice.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute all responsibilities associated with the role of a General Practitioner as outlined in the relevant healthcare contract.
- Adhere to all objectives set forth in the healthcare agreement.
- Facilitate and assist in the enhancement of clinical procedures and protocols within the practice.
- Ensure accurate and prompt entry of patient information into the clinical database.
- Conduct clinical audits as necessary.
- Prepare documentation for legal, insurance, and other relevant entities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain the integrity of the patient-practice relationship.
- Actively participate in practice meetings and discussions.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in designated areas of practice management.
- Support the establishment and adherence to the Practice Health and Safety policy.
- Take on leadership roles in specified areas of clinical management.
- Engage in the GP appraisal program.
- Attend training sessions organized by the practice whenever feasible.
- Maintain medical knowledge and skills in accordance with your Personal Development Plan.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the practice.
- Comply with the stipulations of the Partnership Agreement.
- Ensure safe working practices at all times, following legislative requirements and practice policies.
