Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient finance and administrative support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely processing of paperwork and information on a period end and year end basis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations across our Catering, Cleaning, Janitorial and School Crossing Patrol services.
- Manage the holiday works programme and assist in the recruitment process.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate workloads effectively in a busy office environment.
- Experience of current recruitment procedures and ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines and high-volume workload.
- Significant knowledge and experience in an administrative environment, including financial analysis and reporting.
- Customer-focused approach to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to continually prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks.
- Significant IT skills in Excel, including extracting information and pulling into reports.
- Understanding and experience of a reconciliation system.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Flexible approach to working.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Thursday: 8:45am - 16:45am.
- Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm.
