Your New Role
In this position, you will perform various types of electrical work. Experience with industrial installations, including SWA cables and metallic containment systems, will be beneficial.

  • Execute the installation of electrical equipment ranging from LV to 132kV.
  • Work on the DNO Network and HV Private Networks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to panel wire to a high standard.
  • Install multi-core cabling and containment for electrical systems.

About You
Essential Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Electrical Power Systems.
  • Previous experience in a DNO network or HV private networks is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A diligent, trustworthy, and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with colleagues and management.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Industry-recognized electrical qualifications.
  • Familiarity with 18th Edition regulations.
  • Preferred inspection testing qualifications.
  • Desirable Scottish Power authorizations including: SR-3/4 Receive & Clear PFW, LWC, WI-1 Work on isolating plant/apparatus, EN-1 Independent entry to substations with exposed live conductors.
