Key Responsibilities

As an EV Charging Point Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Installing and maintaining a network of electric vehicle charging stations.
  • Representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in completing electrical certification using digital tools.
  • A solid understanding of current regulations and a commitment to compliance.
  • Ability to follow established safety protocols.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities.
Essential Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in electrical installations.
  • Experience with the installation and termination of SWA cables.
  • Knowledge of BS 7671:2018, 18th edition standards.
  • A minimum of 2 years of electrical experience in a residential setting.
  • A valid UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • Experience with 3-phase initial verification, inspection, and testing.
  • City and Guilds EV installation 2919 or an equivalent certification.
