Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair of equipment issues, working with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety policies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical trade
- Minimum of 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG, food manufacturing, or packaging industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
