Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Suffolk County Council. As an HR Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to various job roles and levels within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, scheduling HR orientation sessions, and ensuring new starters are equipped with the necessary resources and information to thrive.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing their queries, concerns, and needs throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, hiring managers, and departmental stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Curate and post job opportunities on the student jobs board platform, ensuring a seamless process for student employment while contributing to a positive employee experience and supporting student success within the organization.
