Key Responsibilities

As an HR & Payroll Specialist at Axéréal, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and provision of the payroll function for UK & Ireland. This includes maintaining accurate records to ensure timely liaison with all external stakeholders, identifying key improvements to further enhance the employee experience, and preparing all payroll data.

Payroll Processing

Prepare and process the monthly payrolls, ensuring financial reconciliation, data entry, verification of hours worked, calculation of wages, and addressing any discrepancies. Manage one-off payments and implement the annual compensation review.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues. Ensure accurate delivery of annual P11d's, monthly posting of payroll journals, and timely data shared with HMRC to reflect changes in employee status.

Employee Support

Support timely data audits, contributing to User Defined Specifications required for new systems. Support the HR & Comms Manager, UK & IRE, within the annual budgeting and reporting cycle to consolidate, interrogate, and deliver accurate data.

Benefits Administration

Support the full administration of employee benefits, including enrolment, changes, and terminations. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with annual open enrolment processes.

Compliance and Record-Keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation, including personnel files, payroll records, and benefit information. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Onboarding and Offboarding

Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process, including paperwork completion, orientation, and training coordination. Support offboarding activities such as exit interviews and processing termination paperwork.

Administrative Support

Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, including scheduling interviews, coordinating meetings, and assisting with employee relations matters. Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and inquiries.
