Technical Sales Consultant (Accounting/Audit Expertise)

FloQast is seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Consultant to enhance our sales efforts by leveraging your accounting and auditing experience. This role is essential in supporting our sales team by addressing accounting-specific inquiries and scenarios throughout the sales process, ultimately driving revenue growth and fostering team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in various remote and occasional in-person demonstration meetings with sales representatives to address technical and operational accounting inquiries.
  • Deliver comprehensive value-based product demonstrations to potential clients and existing customers.
  • Engage in webinars, trade shows, and industry events to promote our innovative solutions.
  • Enhance the sales team's understanding of accounting principles to better meet the needs of prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to strategize on positioning, overcoming objections, and determining next steps.
  • Conduct internal training sessions to elevate the accounting knowledge within the sales team.
  • Utilize statistical analysis of the sales cycle to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with product, support, and implementation teams to provide feedback and ensure smooth onboarding for clients.
  • Partner with Marketing to create effective sales collateral.
  • Communicate the intangible impacts experienced by sales representatives.
  • Share insights into why clients choose FloQast, including experiences and success stories.
  • Assist the partnerships and consulting team in conducting demonstrations for accounting firms.
  • Support the Customer Success team by participating in calls with clients to resolve accounting-related queries.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to serve as a subject matter expert for the sales and partnership teams.
  • Organize necessary IT and sales materials for the sales team.
  • Aim to improve individual close rates.
  • Assist in technical evaluations related to the FloQast application.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage through various communication channels.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the accounting industry, with a solid understanding of the month-end close process.
  • Familiarity with the financial compliance landscape and its operational implications.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • An enthusiastic communicator who enjoys building relationships both in person and through virtual meetings.
  • A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with FloQast or similar month-end close software.
  • Experience in implementing accounting systems or using related software, such as ERPs or payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in French and/or German is advantageous.
