We are currently in search of a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to enhance our EMEA operations.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering pre-sales support for our Library and Research Analytics offerings. You will collaborate closely with management and sales teams, with a primary emphasis on bolstering our sales initiatives.
This position presents a distinct opportunity to demonstrate the value of our organization to clients through specialized consulting services aimed at generating new business, expanding market presence, and improving customer satisfaction. If you possess a background in pre-sales consulting for solutions or products, we are eager to connect with you.
Candidate Profile - Experience, Education, Skills, and Achievements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution consulting roles
- Proficiency in English and French is essential
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Fluency in an additional European language
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Expertise in data management
- Previous experience in scientific publishing or research is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Crafting and delivering customized sales presentations for potential clients
- Developing sales and educational materials for customers
- Collaborating with sales teams to ensure alignment with commercial strategies
- Engaging with internal departments such as product development, technical support, and marketing
- Conducting business presentations and workshops for various institutions across Europe
- Providing multilingual educational resources for products
- Facilitating web-based presentations and online tutorials
- Assisting in the identification of sales opportunities
- Building relationships with clients and training partners
- Creating and managing project plans
About the Team
You will be integrated into the EMEA Business Operations team, which supports Academic & Government sectors. The team's collaborative ethos emphasizes cooperation with various functions, including Product, Global Sales, and Marketing. Sharing information and collaboration are fundamental values within this international team.
Work Environment
This is a full-time permanent role requiring a hybrid work model, with a blend of in-office and remote work. Travel may be a component of this position.
