Position: Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Leader

Location: Jaguar Land Rover Peterborough

Working Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekends on a rotational basis.

Compensation: Basic salary plus on-target earnings up to £60,000 (dependent on site), along with a company vehicle.

The Opportunity

We are in search of a seasoned Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Leader to join Marshall Motor Group and guide our sales team at the Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Peterborough. This role will leverage your sales management expertise to steer the team towards achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business, this is an exceptional chance to become part of a leading automotive organization while representing a prestigious brand. You will oversee a team of Sales Executives and a Transaction Manager, who are responsible for both new and pre-owned vehicle sales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the Sales Executives and Transaction Manager.
  • Inspiring the team to achieve positive outcomes for customers while meeting weekly sales targets for vehicles, financing, and insurance products.
  • Engaging with customers through face-to-face interactions as well as via phone and email, addressing customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Promoting vehicles and services available at the dealership and online.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service that consistently results in high customer satisfaction index scores.
  • Preparing finance proposals that prioritize the best interests of the customer.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you should possess prior experience as a sales leader within the automotive sector. While brand-specific experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Additionally, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
