Coventry, Coventry, United Kingdom Change Grow Live Full time

Overview

Change Grow Live is a charitable organization committed to the principle that we can positively impact the lives of our Service Users. We provide support and respect in a secure environment, treating each individual as unique and collaborating with them to identify the most suitable treatment and care options.

Our fundamental values are 'Be open, be compassionate, and be bold,' which our team members embody daily to fulfill our mission of assisting individuals in transforming their lives, developing personally, and realizing their full potential.

We are excited to announce a significant collaboration between CGL (Change, Grow, Live) and local law enforcement, aimed at enhancing the innovative Offender to Rehabilitation Programme. This distinctive initiative, which has been informally operating since 2018, has shown success in rehabilitating frequent retail offenders struggling with severe substance dependency.

As part of this partnership, we are pleased to offer a position for a Lead Rehabilitation Liaison Specialist. In this role, you will empower individuals utilizing this service to achieve their aspirations.

You will be instrumental in supporting our local law enforcement in the Offender to Rehabilitation Programme. This joint effort between CGL and local police is dedicated to engaging offenders, partners, and colleagues to mitigate harm and decrease the demand for volume crime affecting the business community.

Conduct both Pre-Release (in collaboration with Resettlement Teams) and Post-Release prison visits to promote early engagement with offenders. Collaborate with law enforcement colleagues in decision-making, determining readiness for treatment within the CGL Coventry service.

About You:

Possess a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a related field. Experience in working with groups and managing group dynamics, including conflict or challenging behavior. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficient IT skills. Proactive and capable of working independently with strong time management and prioritization abilities.
