A "Rehabilitation Support Specialist" serves as a vital member of the therapy team, executing rehabilitation tasks and activities under the guidance of licensed therapists. This role involves collaborating with various therapy professionals, including those specializing in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, and Psychology.

Key Responsibilities

The Coventry Community Integrated Neuro and Stroke Service (CINSS) is committed to providing exceptional community rehabilitation services. Our mission is to facilitate safe transitions for patients returning home after experiencing a stroke or other neurological conditions, offering tailored rehabilitation support in their own environment.

Our multidisciplinary team comprises professionals from various fields, including Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, and Rehabilitation Support Specialists. We collaborate closely with Community Nursing and Pharmacy teams to ensure comprehensive care.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team and Clinical Lead. Our leadership is characterized by experienced therapy staff dedicated to your professional growth through value-based evaluations, competency assessments, and both peer and individual supervision.
